ADRIAN GYDE

Owner of CBS

Adrian was born on December 15, 1954, in Painswick, Gloucestershire. He is a professional, qualified accountant and has held a variety of board and senior positions within the international insurance/reinsurance and IT sectors in the UK, U.S. and, the Caribbean gaining a wealth of local, national, and international experience.

During his career, Adrian has become a specialist in business development, profit improvement, and assisting with start-up operations sourcing and creating insurance products and solutions for companies of all shapes and sizes from a wide variety of business sectors from healthcare to retail and everything in between.

Adrian returned to Painswick with his family in 2018 to fulfill the lifelong ambition of creating a brokerage that upholds the values and supports the local community, where residents and businesses work together sharing their skills, knowledge, and contacts to benefit one another.

Adrian has a passion for all aspects of countryside life, he’s a keen rugby fan having played for Painswick RFC in his younger days and spent many a weekend at Kingsholm supporting Gloucester Rugby. The family’s passion for horses means he’s often found at the stables watching his wife and daughter ride. He’s also held many positions on the board of local schools and community centres.
